Cottonmouth Jones is a great Outlaw Rock & Roll Band from Parksville BC.  Consisting of Chris Jones (Guitar & Vocals) Lonni Jones (Bass & Vocals) & Terry Jones (Drums).  I have had the pleasure of not only sharing the stage with these guys but also becoming really good friends with the trio.  They just released their 3rd CD called “3”. Click on their logo to check it out!

The Executives – Another great Vancouver band…. John Owen (Vocals), Paul Watson (Drums) Chris Parrish (Bass) and Dan Zbytovsky (Guitar). These guys are amazing. I believe they are working on a new CD.  Check them out by clicking on their logo!

Stampede Queen – Never turn your back on Rock & Roll! Zack & the boys  know how to put on a rock show, everything about it is sleezy rock & roll! Great bunch of talented guys.  Currently they are in the studio recording some new songs.  Hope to see them back on the stage in 2012!

The DIY Daily – Brian Thompson hosts his Daily Podcast. I think that this is one of the most valuable Podcast for the indie musician.  Brian is very knowledgeable on social media & marketing.  His Podcast is Daily at around 9:30 PST.  Brian also has a record label called thorny Bleeder Records. Some of the artists on his roster include Art of Dying, Scott Valentine, Black hat Villan, Billy the Kid and Columbia.  Click on Brian’s logo and sign up to his DIY Daily newsletter, you will not be disappointed in the amount of advice he gives out…for free!

The Stepping Stone – With your host Dick Maidment.  A great supporter of indie music, Dick brought his show back from a 10 year hiatus and quickly built a fan base of loyal listeners.  The Shows format has The Stepping Stone featuring an Artist or Band coming onto the show and performing a few songs acoustically along with being interviewed.  Throughout the 2 hour show Dick would play other local (and some not so local) indie bands and have people phone in.  The show was alot of fun and Dick’s only requirement when you were the featured artist….Bring Beer!  Click on The Support Indie Music logo to go to TSS’s website.
